Показано, что уменьшение содержания кислорода ведет к уменьшению спонтанной намагниченности, метамагнитному поведению и резкому увеличению магниторезистивного эффекта. Метамагнетизм и магниторезистивный эффект обусловлены переходом из антиферромагнетного в ферромагнетное состояние во внешнем магнитном поле. Предполагается, что диэлектрическая антиферромагнитная фаза содержит ионы кобальта в смешанном высокоспиновом/низкоспиновом состоянии, а проводящая ферромагнитная фаза – в промежуточном спиновом состоянии.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The magnetic and magnetotransport properties of the La0.45Ba0.55CoO3–x cobaltites have been studied as a function of oxygen content. It is shown that the decrease in the oxygen content leads to strong enhancement of the magnetoresistance and the metamagnetic behavior.
