CLASSICAL BEAM-SPLITTER FOR SINGLE PHOTONS AND CONROL OF SPONTANEOUS EMISSION BY ENTANGLEMENT

Abstract

We demonstrate how the system of two-level emitters coupled to the same dissipative reservoirs can function as a "classical" beam-splitter when operating with single photons. The suggested "classical beam-splitting device" might be useful for devising controlled single-photon emitting devices.
