MOLECULAR-GENETIC IDENTIFICATION OF BIOTECHNOLOGICALLY RELEVANT BACTERIA OF THE GENUS BACILLUS
Abstract
We have proposed an original approach for precise identification of bacteria of the genus Bacillus. Random fragment sequencing of bacterial chromosome DNA allowed us to establish a taxonomic membership for four studied microorganisms at the subspecies level (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens subsp. plantarum and B. subtilis subsp. subtilis).
