Structure of a conjugate of a modified peptide from the active center of neuraminidase of the influenza A H1N1 virus with a modified capsid protein of the Monkeypox virus

Abstract

Spectral analysis of the original vaccine antigen (a conjugate of a modified Monkeypox virus A29L capsid protein and eleven molecules of a modified active-site peptide from the influenza A H1N1 virus neuraminidase) revealed that the peptide fragments form beta-hairpins. The interaction of these fragments results in the formation of an intermolecular parallel and antiparallel beta-sheet structure, stable in the temperature range of 5 to 75 °C.
